After more than 15 years in residential interior design, Jenny’s transition into marketing stemmed from her community involvement & desire to help promote organizations and programs. With a passion for hospitality, Jenny found herself planning one of Birmingham’s largest charitable events in 2022, the first live event following a 2-year COVID-19 forced pause. Despite never attending the event in previous years, Jenny was able to exceed the previous fundraising goal by 66% through auction sales and pledges. With 2022 serving as Jenny’s “practice year”, she asked to serve as gala chair an additional year, with a team of volunteers shadowing her, preparing for future events. The 2023 gala exceeded expectations with a 40% increase in auction sales & pledging.

Realizing her volunteer fundraising event planning experience could help non-profit organizations expand and increase their mission, Jenny founded Benevolent - fundraising event consulting. She is excited to partner with charitable organizations looking to create campaigns and events that truly connect with the community & garner excitement for the future.
